1.  What are your testing services?

SLCTL provides electrical testing services for the industrial community. Our staff work with you to provide the testing services you need to meet your requirements. Test conducted can follow strict protocol requirements or can be specifically designed to your specifications. To see if we can assist you, contact us for your testing evaluation needs.

2.  Are you an accredited laboratory?

Yes we are.  We had been assessed and found conforming to the requirements of PNS ISO/IEC 17025:2005 in the field of electrical testing.

3.  What does the PS / ICC mark indicate?

A Product Standard (PS) mark or Import Commodity Clearance (ICC) mark indicates that the product complies with the safety and quality standard issued by the Bureau of Product Standard of DTI.

4. What are the procedures to follow?

If you ‘re applying for PS/ICC mark, you have to inquire at BPS-DTI for the procedures.  If it is for private testing, just bring the requirements and we will give you the service you need.

5. What are the requirements for TV sets testing?

We require at least 2 television sets sample per model and spare parts such as AC cord, transformer, ADG spare board and other critical components.   A “Request for Test  Form” from BPS-DTI is also mandatory if it is not for private testing.   We also require a copy of the certificates of critical components.

6. What are the requirements for testing other electrical appliances?

7. How much does it cost?

We provide an itemized testing cost based on the tests conducted with the sample submitted.   It basically follows government testing pricing scheme.

8. How are we going to acquire the test report?

Acquisition of test reports is given by BPS-DTI at Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue Makati City.

9. How are we going to secure the confidentiality of testing?

A confidentiality agreement is being signed by the client and STC-TL, the purpose of this is to confirm that the client agrees with the terms & conditions, with respect to handling of certain confidential, proprietary business information.
